There are a ton of different stats that can appear on the gear in Diablo IV, and at first glance, they all sound pretty good. Damage and melee? Of course, I am a melee equipment. This includes Vulnerability damage, Critical Strike, and your character's primary stat (determined by which Diablo 4 tier you choose).

If you're not one to do your own calculations, you can just plug things in and see what works, but if you're curious about the underlying system, it also accurately shows "damage buckets" (as the community named them ) is decomposed.

Each individual box shows how the stats are grouped - if they're within a boundary, they're all added together, and you can then see the boxes multiply along the bottom of the screen to get your final damage and critical damage.
