Diablo 4: Players are pessimistic about Season 3

Diablo 4's hot season is coming to an end, but we still only have bits and pieces of information about season 3. Thankfully, this should all be revealed in the upcoming reveal stream of the game's next major content update.
Season 2 is very popular among players as it implemented many changes. This is a huge improvement over Diablo 4's first season, which was decidedly poor.
Unfortunately, Blizzard's silence about the next season has fans worried that it won't reach the heights of the previous season. A conversation on the Diablo 4 subreddit that started as a way to gauge excitement for Season 3 ended up debunking fans' suspicions.
One user said: "I'm very cautious. Everything good in this game is due to adjustments based on feedback." "He's less than 10 days away from the start of the new season and basically has zero information. That means zero feedback and zero quality testing."
It is widely believed that the lack of news even when a new season is about to be released could be damaging to the health of the game. Some even believe that Blizzard's silence means that season 3 could be a "tweet."

"No changes to entry and aspect systems = dead on arrival," another player said confidently. “It would be good to come back in season 4.”
Season 3's mysteries may be Blizzard's attempt to build excitement, but Diablo 4's inconsistent track record has left players worried. Another user explained, "I don't mind being left in the dark and being surprised, but trust in the developer has not yet been established."
Hopefully, a better understanding of what's in store for Diablo 4 Season 3 will put those concerns to rest. The developers have promised to carry over some of the more welcome changes from season two.
The season will be officially announced during a developer live broadcast on January 18, 2024 at 9am PT.
