Diablo 4: Developers promise not to ruin the fun of Season 2

Diablo 4 Season 2 looks set to be the most fun game for players in a while, and the developers have no intention of rolling out any nerfs that will kill the fun.

After Diablo 4's terrible first season, many players thought there was no way Blizzard would release a second season. Despite some inconveniences, such as delays in new content updates and some bugs, the results have been surprisingly good and players mostly love it.

This time last season, we heard that Blizzard was going to release changes. But this time it’s different: Joe Shelley, one of Diablo 4’s designers, said on Twitter on October 23 that he wouldn’t be releasing any nerfs.

The news comes as a relief to many, as Diablo 4's first season saw major nerfs that reduced the power of every class in the action-packed game. In particular, many people said this nerf was the reason they gave up the title.

Now, past Diablo 4 players are slowly but surely coming back to try out the new covenants and vampire powers. Many players really enjoyed the Blood Harvest events and would like to see some elements incorporated into the Hellside events to make them more fun, more enjoyable, and less lonely.

No one, not even most players, expected Season of Blood to be so popular, and they asked the developers if they could keep the vampire powers alive.

Other players have requested that vampire powers or something similar be introduced as a new class in Eternal Realms.

One of those new classes is the Blood Knight, which launched in Diablo Immortal earlier this year. I actually wrote about how great it would be to see this class added to Diablo 4 in a future update, and now Blizzard has a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone and make everyone happier.

Regardless, players are loving Diablo 4's new season, and the developers seem to be aware of that and not want to rock the boat with too many changes this time around.
